Off to D.C.

Well it’s off to Washington D.C…. Not for me (I wish), but for my sister Carol. If I thought I was getting up early yesterday, boy was I in for a rude awakening this morning. Early Mornings

I dread getting up early, but when I finally manage to crawl out from underneath my warm covers; I’m usually so glad I did. Getting up an hour earlier allows me to: -make a healthy breakfast -pack a healthy lunch -see my nutritionist -watch my favorite morning show–The Today Show -prepare for the day -reflect Today and tomorrow will both be early days, but for good reasons. Get on Your Bikes and Ride!

And cue the Queen song! This past weekend was the MS Tour for Cure. It’s a (in total) 150 mile bike ride to raise money for those with multiple sclerosis. ย 75 miles there, 75 miles back…uphill both ways. Just kidding. But there really are lots of hills throughout the course. I could never. But my dad does it every year.
