Another month another round of goals. Last month I had a lot of goals and clearly felt overly ambitious at the beginning of the month. I’d give myself a B- on achieving last month’s goals. This month, I’m trying to be more intentional, so I’ve kept the list manageable.
WATCH ALL OF THE HARRY POTTER MOVIES
I know, I know. What a lame goal. But, I can’t believe I haven’t watched them all. I get to the Goblet of Fire and never make it through/never understand what’s happening enough to make me want to watch the rest.
BLOG EVERYDAY IN OCTOBER
There’s a challenge floating around the blogisphere and that is Blogtober. The challenge is to blog about something Fall related every day in October. I’m modifying it (since it doesn’t feel much like Fall here) to “blog everyday in October”. Hope you stop by to cheer me on and to hold me accountable!
COOK MORE MEALS AT HOME
I love going out to eat. Fancy restaurants call my name. Unfortunately, I have champagne taste on a newlywed, beer budget. So, I’m trying more recipes and have been doing pretty well lately–I’m hoping to make it more of lifestyle than a week trend. As I write this, I’m currently making red beans and rice in the crockpot. Cross your fingers for me that the husband likes it. The last time I attempted to make red beans and rice, the beans were hard and it was inedible.
SPEND MORE TIME OUTSIDE
This month happens to be one of my favorites. October in the South is when Fall finally starts to make it’s appearance and what better way to celebrate the change of the season that spending time outside as much as possible?! I hope to tend to my flower beds more this month, enjoy dinner on the patio, and play with the puppy child outside more often! If I’m feeling really ambitious this month, I’d also like to plant an herb garden if I can convince the husband to build be raised flower bed boxes!
