Five Must Watch Christmas Movies

It’s five days before Christmas and I’m making my list and checking it twice–my list of Christmas movies that is! This year, I’ve been a huge Hallmark movie fan. I curl up on the couch in the morning with my coffee in hand and immediately flip to Hallmark! They always play the most feel good movies out there and it leaves me with a warm, fuzzy feeling after the movie is over–plus it’s the perfect way to start my day with Christmas cheer!

But while I’ve adopted watching the Hallmark channel recently (I’m probably turning into my mother), it’s not truly Christmas if I don’t watch at least some of the Christmas movies on this list:

Must Watch Christmas Movies

The Muppet Christmas Carol

As if there’s ANY OTHER Christmas Carol movie to watch. It’s the only muppet movie I’ll watch and comes complete with singing and dancing. The perfect movie to spread Christmas cheer! After all, there’s only 5 more sleeps ’til Christmas!

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

A recent addition to the favorite list, Josh and I watched this the other night and it’s the only Christmas movie I’ve seen him genuinely enjoy. Like laughing out loud enjoying. It’s an older movie so it’s borderline corny, but that’s what makes it so good! Imagine his face looking something like this:

The Year Without a Santa Clause

I’m going REALLY old school here, but this one is a classic–as in a 1974 classic! I love the little animatronic characters–especially Heat and Snow Miser (are you humming their song yet?)! Also similar to this movie, Jack Frost and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

Eloise at Christmastime

Literally so obsessed with Eloise. Y’all, it’s because of her, that we acknowledge Christmas Eve Eve and I don’t want to think of a world without Christmas Eve Eve #thehorror I’m convinced she’s the mini, richer version of me in a different life! Also, it’s on my bucket list to visit the Plaza at Christmastime because of this movie!

Home Alone

Obviously and easily a Christmas Classic. Nothing says Merry Christmas like your whole family leaving you  behind! Kevin handled it like a champ and has me laughing at his pranks every year!
